I just purchased my first toy of the year, an iPhone 4S.
I don’t understand why but iPhone in Taiwan is hell expensive. It is like almost double the cost as compared to the U.S. Plus, much less excitement as compared to when I first purchased the iPhone 3G, mostly because the interface is the same and it looks identical to the 4.
Still, it is a great upgrade over the 3G and I love it!
Normally when I have this kind of heading, normally I will end up with “should”.
Maybe a better word is “want”.
This time, is iPhone 4. Do I want to get an iPhone 4?
I have an iPhone 3G, not the 3GS unfortunately. It is still good and extremely usable, and I really don’t have a particularly good reason to get rid of it and get a new iPhone 4. Then again, iPhone 4 is just too appealing, especially the FaceTime feature, or the Retina display, or the HD recording….Gosh, it sounds like as if I have already been sold.
iPhone 4 won’t be released until September anyway, so we will see. But it is such a nice phone.
BenQ held the annual appreciation dinner yesterday. I was lucky enough to win a new toy for myself, an ebook!
Yep, once again it is made by BenQ, and its likely to be full of problems as it is a new product.
Then again, I cannot complaint too much, as it is the third year that I was actually picked to win something over the last three annual appreciation dinners. 2007 was a crappy mobile phone, 2008 was a digital camera and this year, an ebook.
Like every other year, I will end up selling this.
If you like to know what it looks like, here it is:
I have only been using my iPhone for about four months and there is already a new iPhone. The iPhone 3GS.
I guess I am not as disappointed because the new iPhone isn’t giving me the same excitment and thrill when the original, or even the iPhone 3G was released. The new iPhone looks the same, feels the same, exactly the same size, and the OS is very much the same.
By doing so, Apple immediately announced that the price of the iPhone 3G, is halved.
No wonder some people are upset. Let’s check out this prank from The New York Times.
Well, maybe I shouldn’t call it a toy, as it is actually one of the most expensive toys I have ever purchased.
Well, I must say this is the most advanced piece of gadget I have used since the PSP. If I have to make a comparison between an iPhone and a PSP, I choose the iPhone to be the winner.
Why? The interface is just too damn good. It is like nothing I have ever used, absolutely out of this world.
