Lost big on stock. Need pay increase. I need money.
Well, although its not much, but its something.
I won’t say the number , but in percentage term, but its almost half of the last pay increase I had which was two years ago.

Suprisingly Good
I am referring to salary increase.
I guess I worked hard enough to get this increase, but I won’t say how much increase though ;).
I found out my bonus today.
I never expect myself to get much. Like always, if I expect too much, I can get more disappointed too.
My boss wrote this number on my notepad. This one solitary number, I was like, whoa!!
More than last year, and more than what I expected. Considering how bad the company did last year, I couldn’t ask for more.
I am going to have a very happy Chinese New Year.

Hard Work = 10%?
Increase in salary that is.
Although the company says average is 2% to 3%, but I do believe they purposely lowered the number so we were all made to believe if we all got “above average” increase. This way, less people would complain, and more would be fooled to feel satisfied.
Then again, hey, I am satisfied! I got 10%, which is 300% more than the company average!
I hope I didn’t make a fool out of myself just then…mmmmmmmm.

Is not going to be as high as what I originally expected.
I already knew it is going to be shit, but I never expected to be this shit.
Although I do not know mine yet, but just from rumors flying around the company, it is only 3% to 5%.
My God, what a joke. Maybe I shouldn’t be posting this because if other people see these figures, they sure are going to find this extremely funny.

Not yet. Actually, the increase is reflected in my next pay check, but I do get to know how much I get probably next week.
I hope for 5k increase, but I highly doubt it. If I do get 5k increase, I might start to look for a new house, or buy some shares.
People always say you have to look for ways to save up in order to become rich. I say you look for ways to become rich! Save up will only make you look poor.
